Leading Change

Welcome to LEPP

The Leading Edge Partnership Programme was established in 2003 to encourage schools to work in partnership to solve some of the most intractable problems in education.

The LEPP is now in its fifth year. It is a very significant investment in the secondary system. In some way or other over a third of all secondary schools in England are involved in helping to raise standards and transform education through this unique school-led approach

A great many successes have resulted from the local and national collaboration of schools that have joined this innovative programme. Over the last two years visits to Leading Edge schools across the country have uncovered some outstanding practice and innovation..

The LEPP website offers an insight to the school to school networks and partnerships. Share your experiences and practice at a deeper level that will ultimately transform schooling.

Annual Leadership Conference taking place on the 1 and 2 October 2009 at Park Plaza, Riverbank, London

At this year’s annual conference on the 1 and 2 October, we will once again have a wide variety of speakers from schools around the country. The event will also include keynotes from round the world yachtsman Humphrey Walters and author Robert Hill. In the evening delegates are invited to attend our annual 'Impact and Innovation' awards dinner. This year our sister HPSS Raising Achievement programme (RAPP) will also hold its annual leadership conference at the same venue. The role of High Performing Specialist Schools in supporting the raising achievement of other schools through effective partnerships is key to system wide development and both programmes will present awards to recognise successful partnership working during the evening.
